A typical Hawaiian meal

Garlic battered shrimp with the standard white rice (not seasoned, not salted, not oiled and entirely tasteless, despite amazing rice quality) and macaroni salad.

Seafood style

I had smoked salmon and wanted to make dinner that would go well with it. When searching "smoked salmon food pairings", the internet only shows wine or crackers. So I made my own "recipe".

Spaghetti
Shrimp
Cut up pieces of smoked salmon
Cut up imitation crab leg
Leafy veggies
Grape tomatoes
Smoked salmon cream cheese

And on the side, more imitation crab leg and smoked salmon.

Japanese theme

I recalled my friend praising the benefits of udon noodles: they don't need a fridge, they last for ages, they're easy to make, and are delicious. The memory appeared randomly while I was shopping.

So I bought some. Well. Like, twenty packages. And after tasting the meal, I have no regrets.

Udon noodles
Chicken breast
Shrimp (de-tailed)
Vegs (from frozen)
Asian seasonings: soy sauce, hoisin sauce

I strongly recommend against pea pods. I always choke on them. Unless they're raw and peeled by me.

Shrimp

I had one if them cravings today. Partly because I walked past this thing at the store and couldn't just leave it there. So I acquired it. Yum.
